Company wont pay wages?

little bit of background info:
OHs friend was due to take over a valeting contract and offered OH a job, the friend rang him and asked him to start a few weeks early as they existing contract holders were short staffed.
OH started and like a prat told his friend to get his wages paid into his account (OH doesnt have a bank account, he normally uses mine but did that for some reason:mad:) it was a week in hand, and then this is what followed
A week before OHs friend was due to take over the contract, the existing contract holders came in saying they want to end the contract early because it wasnt going to be renewed.
They then refused to pay OHs friend because he was taking over the contract, somehow OHs wages must have been confused with his friends because they havent paid him either... nothing not a penny.
The company that issues the contract released them and OHs friend took over.
Since then the old area manager (old contract holder) hasnt answered his phone and the head office just tell OH to contact the area manager:mad:
any ideas what we could do to get his wages?

The answer depends on what money has been paid to whom. It's not clear from your post.
Did the company pay his wages to your OH's friend or have they not paid them at all? If it is the former, then he needs to pursue the company, if they have been paid to his friend then he needs to pursue him.0 -
they havent been paid at all, sorry if that wasnt clear,
like i said, OH has been trying to contact the area manager but he doesnt answer his phone or its turned off, when he contacts head office they tell him to contact the area manager:TJanuary Wins: Something from CCL :T
