I was just about to post this!

More than aware it's probably an April Fools, however I think it would be really bad business to let customers spend their time picking items and then be disappointed? So I think it could be real...

Also there is no disclaimer on the email so I am (probably naively) hopeful!

No but i have just seen on some items it states...final sale no returns or exchanges...this is not good, they can't take money out of the account though surely? Maybe they will just take £4 and the email they sent was the one with the fault? Typical of my luck though x

if this was an april fool joke, then it's a pretty bad one by american apparel.

a joke to get personal details off potential customers, card details etc.? not the best idea in the world.

i'll be expecting my 5 items of clothing for £4! if not, there'll be no jokes when i contact CS!

wowsers! Thanks op. 2 lounge pants, 2 aerobics tops and some shorts for my son for £4! Totally thought this was an april fool. I managed to resist the hair scrunchies ;-) , maybe those were the April fool, or maybe i'm just showing my age...

I've ordered too, fingers crossed! As everyone has said above, if it was an April Fool it would not look good on American Apparel. Plus their CS department would be getting some serious grief!
