Friday 1st April - What small DFW things will you be doing today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Good morning ladies & Karb :hello:, a warm welcome to all the newbs & a just as warm smile to all the regs
Happy Fool's Friday :rotfl:
I am feeling really up for it today, so I'm gonna get out there and do it - I broke a 1" piece of pine yesterday at the conference with my bare hand, if I can do that I can do anything! Who is with me??!
Today:
oh my yogurt came out quite running - i used 1 yeo vally 150g pot, 750ml semi skimmed UHT, 2 & a bit (about a quarter) tablespoons of powdered milk, put it on low in SC for an hour and then left over night - any ideas?

Good morning all, and thanks to dnms for starting the thread.
No idea on the yogurt I'm afraid, I use the flask method and you seem to use new-fangled metric measurements, I'm still on imperialI use sterilised milk rather than UHT so I don't know if that would make a difference.
Today's list then:- checked banking - looking healthy as it's the day after payday
- checked for surveys - two aren't working well
- made lunch to take to work
- fed and watered the chickens
- get a lift to and from work

Morning all
Thanks to DNMS for starting us off. When I Used to make yoghurt I would bring it just to the boil, leave it to cool until body temp and add the yoghurt. Then place in one of those easi-yo contraptions which is basically a giant flask. I would suggest leaving it a little longer, was it in a warm place?
Keep on posting Stitchy we would all miss you terribly! And here comes my very repetitive list . . .
