Thanks for all the messages the other night, it was the best thing i could ever have done joining you all here i now see light at the end of the tunnel all be it a very dim flicker but it's there.

I have got my spending diary ready for april, have already made £42 on ebay which won't be in my bank until 4th april so put it on the spread sheet for april, also sister owes me £18 so i will have enough to clear a small debt where the interest free period ends in two weeks.

Have also had a letter regarding one of my bank accounts because i havent used it for two years they are going to close it unless i ask them not too, got me thinking and i have decided to put my £80 child benefit in there for a few months hoping that i won't have to touch it

Must update my SOA at the weekend with all the aprs%

Looking forward to April i like the challenge and keep telling hubby think before you spend anything, do we really need it essentials only from now on

Thanks again for all your help and support it's great to know that it's possible

    Hi

Excellent, sounds like you are feeling positive and have a plan of action. Good luck for April!

Do find out your APRs so you can work out which order to tackle your debts.

You might also want to consider joining some of the challenges we have on the board - the 'no spend day challenge' is popular (where you set a target number of days that you won't spend anything in the month), or something like the make £10 a day challenge. Theer is a list of current challenges on a sticky thread at the top of the the DFW forum.

Thanks definately feeling more postive and hubby seems to be with me this time and slowly his head is coming out of the sand, I will join some challenges will help motivate me on

Also planning on doing 1 extra shift a week i work nights so that 12 hours extra each months, have found if hubby buys his bus card by direct debit monthly it will save us another £8, at last things seem to have clicked into place and i have a plan that i hope is workable
