How to Enter the Competition!
For your chance to win the Philips Double Handset Dect Home Phone we're looking for the 'Best Poem' on the Chat & Socialise page.
Your poem might be about a beautiful Spring day, your garden, a member of the family, your pets, wildlife, the sea, nature, a recent holiday, a witty poem, a comment about society, technology, the environment, friendship, love, romance, betrayal, the futility of war - be imaginative!
The poem must be original and all your own work.
All Poems MUST be posted as a BLOG on the Chat & Socialise page to be in with a chance of winning the prize.
There is no limit to the amount of poems you can send in. The more the merrier!
We will choose the best poem at the end of April - so get your thinking caps on!

How to Post your Poem as a BLOG on the Sixtyplusurfers Chat & Socialise Page
First click on the Chat & Socialise page and this will take you to the welcome page.
If you are not yet a member of our Chat & Socialise page, you will need to sign in and join before you begin. This is Free of Charge to do.
Next click on the words 'Join Now' at the top of the page and follow the instructions.
You will be asked to put in a Profile Photo (this is optional) fill in your email address, your username, password, and date of birth. When you are finished, click on the word 'Join'.
Once you have signed in and become a member of the
Chat & Socialise page, you are ready to join in and send in your entry.
To post your Poem as a BLOG - click on the word Blogs at the top of the Chat & Socialise page, then click on the words 'add a blog post'. Now you are ready to start!
First of all, give your poem a title - for example 'Ode to a Nightingale'. Then type in your poem in the section marked 'Blog Post. If you scroll down the page you will also see that there is a chance to add in a helpful photo. This is entitled 'Blog Post Thumbnail' - you can add in a picture here. When you are finished just click on 'Add Blog Post' and that's all there is to it!
