hello all,
just joined the site and need some help please?
i have just got home from work and received a letter from 1st Credit, stating that they are trying to contact me regarding a personal matter...(debt i presume)
it says that if i am the said person that i should contact them on the number provided to discuss the matter.
im not aware of any debt oweing to anybody, and check my credit experian report regularly and nothing is on there and i have a good score.
what should i do next? do i ring them ?? or send them a letter??
any help would be great
thanks J:money:

Ignore them until they can be bothered to write to you with FULL details of exactly what they want.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

ok i will try that,
they said on the letter that if no response is recieved in ten days then they would assume that they have the right person and relevant correspondance will be sent to me.
so i will wait and see what happens

Let them assume what they want - it's their money they're throwing away.0
