    You need to complete a form P50 http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/incometax/stop-work-refund.htm

    Next time you work ask for a form P38s to ensure the correct code is used.

    In this case a P38(s) would not be allowed as the poster has another job worked all year. A P38(s) should only be used for students who work only during their holidays.
