No - if its HSBC thats fine - its not linked to the MBNA ones. So your main issue could be what credit limit you are offered. If its not enough to do both transfers then it will still be worth using what limit they would give you for one or other of the transfers you want to do.
Tammer there are still threads almost everyday where there are lots of posters responding advising people to save up rather than borrow (usually when the poster 'needs' thousands for a car, travelling, holidays, iphones etc).A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Tixy, you are an absolute star! I have applied and been excepted for the MBNA card with enough credit limit to transfer the existing cc and get the £2K I need. Thank you so much for your help, I wish I had posted sooner as I've been really worried about my options and not spending where I dont need to.
