hi all,
just checked my credit rating there with experian and it has gone from 684 at the start of febuary to 840 today march 31st does that sound right to anyone usually the only increases ive seen in the past have been marginal
could it depend on the circumstances like i have been at my address now 2yrs, no late payments, all my debt is paid every month
its just i am after renting a house and they would do a credit check

Nobody ever sees the numbers, they just see whats in your statutory report, if you've had good history for the last few years then you should be fine.
I've found disclosure helps, if you know you have a few black marks against your name let the landlords know before they check you out. It seems to help build trust.

Landlords can only see public data on your credit report, such as court judgments and bankruptcies. They cannot see your history of credit agreements. As a result, your credit report score is not relevant to renting. Scores do vary by the way, particurly as certain types of information age.
