Hi there,
thought i'd try on here and see if anyone knows of someone who hires themselves out with a van for moving stuff? Man or woman with a van! In the Newtownabbey/Belfast area.
thanks in advance,
Louise x

I would check out gumtree and see if there is anyone local under the services section or just do a general search for man and van.
My friend got help from a fella advertising on gumtree and thought he was great and not too expensive. Sadly was't in your area but i'm sure it's worth a look anyway.0 -
If you don't need the 'Man or Woman' with the Van, it would probably be cheaper to rent out a van yourself.
Looked into it myself as I have to move house soon and the cost of removals is  Where as hiring your own van for the day is well under £100, even for a nice new big van from rent a Merc
I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:0 -
thanks but I need to hire for one afternoon and then a Saturday afternoon and they tend to want a weekend hire for that which boosts the price way up!0

Used Gumtree last weekend to find a Man with a Van.
He was gr8888 and not too expensive,
Cheaper than hiring one myself plus extra set of hands came in handy.
Definitely checkout Gumtree
