In my local superdrug they had packs of 8 of their Longer Life AA batteries by the till priced at £1.49. Thought these were a good deal so picked up two. They went through at BOGOF, (noticed all their batteries were BOGOF).
That means I got 16 AA batteries for £1.49.
Thought this was a great price if people are stocking up for christmas toys.

I might have gone for this as it is not a bad price. However I managed to stock up in the summer when they were doing all there battery packs at 49p (minus 10% voucher = 44p).
Thaks for the heads up anyway.[size=-2] If this post was unhelpful, please tell me.

Please think about the environment and use rechargeables. They don't cost much more.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0

Rechargeables aren't always better. These cheapy batteries are ideal for things such as remote controls. All rechargeables except for the eneloops discharge over time and so aren't suitable for low drain devices.0 -
I agree. Rechargeable are no good for my Sky remote. Even when they are freshly charged it comes up as "Please replace your batteries". I think it is because rechargeables are less than 1.5v and the Sky remote detects the lower voltage as being time to replace batteries.0

Rechargeables are ideal for this, which is why I didn't bother to go into the detail of low current devices.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0 -
Don't go out of your way for this offer. I looked in 2 local Superdrug stores today. Both were doing the BOGOF, but wanted £2.99 a pack!
