Don't forget there was a discussion about Rush from two people who thought they were on the totally 80's thread.0 -

With the property market so fragmented one single event is unlikely to be the trigger for downward pressure, but more likely a combination of concurrent factors.0 -
well prices aren't exactly leaping forwards for flats are they but for detached properties they're cruising ahead.
why are prices for flats not increasing - i believe they've probably fallen YoY.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/spl/hi/in_depth/uk_house_prices/regions/html/regions.stm?f#table
If you look at the last quarter data (rather than YOY), you see that the performance of flats is better than the general market, though the YOU for general is better than flats. Which indicates I guess that there is increased competition at the lower end following a depressed period, so quarterly performance is far better than YOU.
It's until Dec 2010 only though. There's probably better data around, but searching for "house prices flat" on google at a period of stagnation finds a lot of extraneous guff.
Northern Ireland is showing good growth for flats for the quarter, quite surprising really.
Health warning on this is that I found it quickly out of interest and haven't really looked critically at it. So it is what it is, not supposed to prove any particular point.0 -

I'm genuinely sorry you have a small penis
Rush were 70s too, not really 80s. They were far better when they were singing prog silliness and not trying to be credible. True for most prog bands to be fair: this week I have oddly enough mostly been listening to Dogs by Pink Floyd.0 -

Ah.
The RM doesn't apply to me personally defence is brought into play.0 -

)
I'm sure we'll continue to debate for many months to come. As there's many twists and turns I suspect.

What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.

You've summerised this forum, not just this thread. Apart from the bit about your penis, which is new ground. Just going back to this thread, I wish people could make up their mind about whether my house is worth more or less, as I need to know whether I can spend the money I may have made tomorrow.0 -

Of course you can spend it. Apparently the benefits system is so generous that not only will it ensure your house increases in value but it'll also pay the debt back for you (well in 52% of cases it will anyway).
Anyway I don't care much for the font you've used which invalidates any point you are trying to make anyway.0
