Hello friendly people - again! Can you believe it is April already!!!

Please add me to the list for another 20 NSD's I achieved 1 NSD yesterday thanks to being too busy at work to think!

Today will be a spend - waxing and picking up a painting from the framers... wedding gift but only had it framed 2 weeks ago! Been married nearly 10 months!!!

Can I also be put down to challenge myself to a 7 in a row NSD! That is 2 more than last months achievement! I am on a very tight budget this month as we go on holiday next month so I hope to have many many NSD''s so I have extra spending money when we head off on holiday!
Well lets see - I dip in and out of MSE all the time but I still come back - have done since 2007!!!

Hello You & all our other Newbies medium-smiley-043.gif You are all very welcome & no need to be scared; you'll get used to our mad-cap ways in no time :p
But back to your holiday Mmoo; how old is your daughter & what kinds of things do you prefer to do? With Easter raising up it's expensive head, what about getting the bars of value eating chocolate (as opposed to the cooking variety, but it depends on personal taste of course) to melt into the bottom of an empty marg pot. When set, turn out & decorate with icing sugar mixed with food colouring, 100s & 1000s, that sort of thing.
Wrap eggs in the brown papery onion skins before hard boiling, then use non-toxic paints to decorate in readiness for your picnics. Or use the broken shells to make a roman-style mosaic, or the complete shell after you've had your brekkie-egg; wash out carefully, add a bit of compost, sprinkle with cress seeds & draw a face on the shell. Pop it in a sunny place & wait for the "hair" to grow :D
Colour pasta shapes & leave to dry to make a collage. Macaroni tubes threaded on cotton/string for necklace etc. Make fairy cakes & decorate, use biscuit cutters to make sandwiches, in fact just helping in the kitchen. Get books from the library to take with you on your doggie walks to identify wild flowers, birds, etc & keep a 'spotters diary'. Do a traffic survey from the lounge window--red cars, people wearing hats, appropriate groups for her age.
I'm sure others will come up with even more suggestions, so Good Luck Parental Folk of Bored Bobbits :p
Actually, just giving them a bit of time to be bored isn't such a bad thing either x

Sympathise with the moody modems Bindz :o --often been there & haven't been able to do anything when I got there; a BIG reason why I loathe teck noll edgy with a vengeance

Liking the pictures Jinty--a worthy running mate for If :T

As predicted a relatively small grocery spend yesterday, so still in the stalls for me. The sun is trying hard to break through & it's 'moist' outside, but I think I'll have a bash at drying the washing outside as there's a whiff of a breeze to help things along. Hope your weekends are just as exciting angry-smiley-008.gif

I shall keep the kippers in reserve for the May thread in case I need them then, they'll be nice and pongy then:D:D:D

I forgot to report in yesterday, BDINI, no 1 for me yesterday and no 2 today. Declaring early as I'm doing my best to avoid the paintbrush that jinty has so kindly presented you with:D:D

Thanks BMF, but IF is def the QUEEN of the Pics! I'm just an enthusiastic learner. I've just spent the last hour practicing some of what I learned on the ExCel course last week. Slow but sure......I even managed a pie chart!
Anyhoo, my weekend sounds about as exciting as your's - off to hang out my washing then for a walk with doglet. The thing is I'm perfectly happy.......heh heh!;)
