Hi, just after a little advice really, my hubby is due a tax rebate through being on the wrong tax code and then paying emergency tax at a new job etc, he has sent all the information through to the tax office and then spoke to them at the end of last year. They agreed that he was due a rebate and that it would be sent at the end of the tax year . Will they just send it out or will he have to chase it? If so roughly when should we start chasing, he is out of work at the moment and we could really do with the rebate asap!!!!!

Hi,
well end of tax year is 5th April, so hopefully not long to wait.0 -
Is he receiving JSA?
If yes ....... you will need to wait for the P60 from DWP. If no ...... ask for the refund now via P50 :-
