okay, just been on the Equifax site and looked at the FAQ and there is one titled "What is Property Valuation / Land Registry Information?" and their response is :-

Why is Property Valuation / Land Registry information appearing on my file?
Equifax supplies Property Valuation / Land Registry information to lenders to assist their decision-making processes.
Property Valuation / Land Registry information is address based, and therefore will appear on any credit file that contains that address.

So does that mean its actually meant to be on my file? Sounds like the auto list the details regardless of whether its in your name or not? BTW, while it gives property type, tenure, price, etc, the buyer/sellers field is left blank. Still not sure why this info would be relavant to lenders if its not your property?
