There is loads you could make with that.
If you have a SC you could cook you pork chops with some apples and cider.
The minced beef can be turned into spag bol if you have some tinned tomatoes onions and herbs (fresh or dried) in the cupboard. If you have some kidney beans you could omit the herbs and add some chilli powder/ flakes whatever to make chilli.
The drumsticks and thighs I would put in a large roasting pan (I use the grill pan!) with a few spuds cut into inch square pieces, 2 red or normal onions cut into wedges, some red pepper or mushrooms or squash, some (about 6) whole cloves of garlic, coat in a good glug of olive oil and S&P and roast at 200'C for about an hour. You have a roast chicken dinner in one pan, with spuds and veg already done.
Braising steak- put it in tray. Add a few chopped carrots, few chopped spuds, a chopped onion, a tin of beans , then fill the empty bean tin with hot water or stock and pour over. Cook at about 160 covered with foil for about 40 minutes, then uncover and cook for another 40 minutes. I0 -
Mix the pork mince with some fresh breadcrumbs (just whizz 2 or 3 slices of bread in a food processor if you have one, otherwise you'll need to grate some stale bread) and a small cup of milk. Add some herbs (dried or fresh), salt & pepper, and form into meatballs about the size of a cherry tomato. Fry gently in oil until brown and serve with a tomato sauce (made with tinned tomatoes, herbs, fried onion, garlic, peppers, mushrooms, whatever..) and a pile of buttered spaghetti or noodles. Are the turkey medallions flat pieces or chunks about (Addiscomber casts eyes around for something the right size ... and fails miserably :rotfl: ) half an egg size?
If so, I have spread them out in a greased baking dish, spread a fairly moist stuffing (I use a packet
!) right over the top and baked them. You could do roast potatoes and/or other vegetables and gravy and you have a minimum fuss mid-week 'roast' dinner. 0
