embittered ex-pension administrator sacked for incompetence.

Sacked? Can they really still do that? I thought they were now forced to promote them.I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.
Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.0 -

I reckon it happened in about 1985, a private sector administrator was binned for being useless then got a job at the revenue and started work on their revenge. So we then got change in recording NICs to COEs from 87/8, change in GMP from 25% to 20% in 1988, intermediate old IR regime from 87-89, new IR regime from 89 (including earnings cap), Barber, although I concede that was Fourth Reich rules not homegrown, post 97 service, A Day in 2006 and far too many more to list.
Of course, I could just be being paranoid, all these changes could have been carefully thought out and competently implemented...It only takes one tree to make a thousand matches, it only takes one match to burn a thousand trees. As well, the cars are all passing me, bright lights are flashing me.
