Has anyone ever been taken to court by a payday loan company?

Options
I have several paydayloans which I have defaulted on. I am going to pay them all back, but not as quick as the lenders would like.

Has anyone ever been taken to court or know anybody who has been taken to court by a payday loan company?

    Hi

    "Several Lenders"
Who are the lenders? Have you just not paid them or have you contacted them to see if they will accept smaller instalments?

    Hi
I have had a payday loan taken to court by Cheque Centre, and a decree has been awarded against me, but, the payment I had offered to Cheque Centre they rejected was accepted by the court.

I had made an offer of £18.92 per month to Cheque Centre they refused to accept this ammount, but the Sheriff accepted my offer so now they have to accept this. I was told by the court as long as I stick to the agreement Cheque Centre have to accept this.

Pay the b[STRIKE]u[/STRIKE]ggers £18.93 per month - with any luck, it'll muck up their system.
  • There was 8 of them and there are now 4. Cheque Centre is one of the ones I've cleared and I'm working my way through the others, paying them all something each month. Some are happy, others are threatening court action. I just want to know if any do take the threatened legal action.

Threatening court action and actually taking court action, especially if you are paying something, is a different matter. They are scum bag bullies after all.

Keep paying them what you can afford and try not to think about what "may" happen.

How much are we talking about for each debt?

No but, if you make a habit of thanking the troll for his senseless postings, one might begin to wonder if there was an insect using your laptop.

They don't seem senseless to me, they look more like a brilliant executed wind up. I'd buy the troll a pint in real life :D
