Can't Burn To CD

Have tried burning some music to cd and keep getting the following message.

Windows Media Player encountered an unknown error. This can occur when another program or operating system component encounters a problem but does not communicate the nature of the problem to the Player.

Was working up to about a week ago when I had major PC issues which are now resolved! :rolleyes:

Am using XP if that makes any difference!

Is it worth re-installing Media Player?

Definitely worth a try.

To do this, navigate to C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player, double-click on the setup_wm file & follow the wizard to reinstall. Reboot & check to see if the problem persists.

As you're using WinXP I'd recommend to get WMP11, if you don't have it already. G
