    I did a search on the internet and it seems that because she is your wife she has the same rights as you (ie she migh have not needed to register in the end).

    The only question is now whether she contributed enough to be able to claim.

    Maternity leave is the entitlement to take the time off from work.

    Entitlement to actually receive Maternity Pay from the employer is dependent on sufficient earnings and service.

    If these aren't sufficient then Maternity Allowance can be paid direct from the DWP.
    Mortgage May 2012 - £129k
    January 2015 - Mortgage down to £114k
    Target for 2015 to get down to £105k

    Thanks again how do we know if contributed enough. she gets 15,000 year and she is been working for one year and she is till working though :-).
