Hi
I've recently taken up a job which will mean me working away from home during the week and renting a property Monday - Friday. Do I still have to pay full Council tax on both properties?
Thanks

You would be entitled to a 10% discount (in special circumstances it can be more) on 2nd home. Speak to the council about this.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

If you're the only person living in the second property, then I would assume you could claim a 25% discount?Indecision is the key to flexibility0

you cannot claim SPD simultaneously on 2 properties, you can claim it on the main home but the other one would only get the second home discount not the full SPD - see earlier posts from CIS0 -
Are you renting a property or a room?0
