Where's the cheapest Macbook Pro?

Any ideas on where i can get a discount or cheaper Macbook Pro? Does anyone know of any other laptops that would be suitable for college?

if you are a student you can get one through the education scheme or if in higher education you get a bigger discount by ordering it through the university. Don't know if colleges are included but you could phone the apple online store on 0800 039 1010 to check

yeah i've already checked that out and was wondering if i could get it any cheaper still

Try the Apple refurb store. Also John Lewis gives 2yr warranty but the same Apple prices

I bought mine via Ebay - saved several hundred pounds when it was still current. Was sold by a computer shop, where I went to collect it brand new, packaged etc.

Alternatively, a friend of mine phoned apple, and explained that he really wanted to buy a Mac, but could get a Dell laptop for £x less. They dropped their price significantly to compete!
