Help! condensing boiler giving off black 'smoke'

Just put my oil condensing boiler on, went outside and noticed instead off white vapour coming from the flue, it's black 'smoke'. The roof overhang (bungalow) is black, soot I presume. Switched the boiler off. Boiler is about 5 years old and was serviced around a month ago. I'll contact service engineer in the morning. Don't know how long it's been like it, haven't noticed anything before so probably just recently. I did notice a smoky smell last night but neighbour has a wood burner so thought it was that. Anyone any idea what's wrong?
Now it's switched off it will be ok untill tomorrow, won't it?

Agree - had the same problem recently with an Aga (which has an electric fuel pump).
Get the engineer back - he needs to adjust the mix.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0 -
It was a faulty nozzle. Now fixed.0
