Yes, for a particular property we had no interest in seeing that didnt in any way fall into the criteria we had given them. When the phone calls warning us of all the viewings for the place we didnt want to see in an area we didnt want to live in didnt work, they started writing to us about it!

I got a leaflet like that about 6 weeks ago and I posted on here about it https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3076222=

We have since bought a new build and the builder has taken ours as part ex, and we have had 5 viewings in one week and 3 more for tomorrow.

So in our case, they were being serious, but I suppose a viewing is not necessarily a sale.

If you want to sell, maybe call them and see if they will give you a reduced estate agent fee as they wont have to do as much work 'marketing' yours:rotfl:

what gets me is that it feels like its true... they send round 2 or 3 in the first week... who give no feedback and whilst yours is a flat, they want a semi... so i reckon they are just the EAs mates trying to make him look good! :rotfl:

.... so they'll need to charge the next seller a higher fee to make up the shortfall on this one.....?

Which, translated into regular English means:

".... but not your house at THAT price..."
