Can Tesco Loans be paid off via bank transfer?
Hello All,
I was wondering if anyone could possibly please advise whether it is possible to make payments to a Tesco Loan via bank transfer?
I want to begin clearing off the loan in fairly large segments over the course of a few weeks and am wondering if there is a less tedious way to do this than having to phone, go through security and give bank details each time. I have yet to make my first payment via Direct Debit (I opted for the payment break) and want to shrink the overall total before then.
I ask only as Barclays let you make payments to a specific bank account when opting for a loan with their Partner Finance division.
Thanks very much in advance for your help.
All the best for now and take care.

why not just ask them?0

Ask them can you set up a standing order for the account. Get the account number that you pay into and the reference number to use.
Set up the standing order with your bank to your loan account and manage the standing order with online banking..... easy!

Thanks, I'll do that. the only reason I didn't ask is that everywhere I've looked in their literature they seem adament about not offering that form of repayment method.
Thanks for the tip anyway about the standing order.
