Starting my journey to become debt free

Options
Just wanted to say how relieved I am feeling at writing to my creditors and starting a DMP to pay off my debts. So far, two have been agreeable but the other two have not responded to my letter in regards to suggested payment at all. Should I just make the payment direct to them or write again - although I dont know what this would achieve?
Felt good cutting up the credit cards - but now wondering how life is going to be without them. Have managed not to spend anything this week at all - with only £9.52 until pay day

    Well done wantabeedebtfree.

Starting is the hardest and I agree it is such a relief. I am in a similar situation as yourself and I have not long been in my DMP and working ok, but will get better. When I cut my cards up I was calling them all the names under the sun!!
The very best of luck to you.
