Hi there
I'm trying to help out a relative who needs to bring in a BT line to a remote building site.
So far I've tried all the possible phone numbers etc and have got nowhere. They pass me from person to person til the line gets disconnected or I have to hang up to go to work !
There would need to be some cabling installed from the nearest road because the place has never had a phoneline before.
Can anyone PM me or let me know if you know any particular phone number or person or email address I can send this query to?
I'm going mad and getting nowhere with BT !
Thanks a bunch

Thanks Ballyblack but it's not only the line that needs connecting. We need the cable laid from the main road into this remote site. I'm not sure the Post Office includes this service.0

Give them a ring. They may contract BT to do the work for them.
I used them to re-connect a very old line, it was BT who came out to do the job. It worked out cheaper and quicker via the Post Office than going to BT direct.0 -
Hi OP,
You need to contact BT Openreach, who are the company that look after the BT network across the country.
Contact details are:
Northern Ireland newSites
PP TH03.201 Telephone House
45-47 May Street
BELFAST
County Antrim
BT1 4NB
TEL: 0800 085 7546
FAX: 028 9032 1725
or email newsite.btni.team@bt.com
Info taken from here
You'll need to send them a location map of where the new service is required - a basic google map or similar is usually ok for this.
If you email them it will take a day or two for them to respond but they will get round to it eventually!!
Hope this helps!0 -
thank you all very much :j :j :j0
