Help Can't Find Saved Document

I received a Word ducument as an e-mail attachment. I enabled editing and altered lots of it. Then I saved it but I can't find it anywhere.

Any ideas where to look? I've run searches etc.

you've probably lost the changes unless you saved it as a file to your machine first, editing within outlook and doing save will lose all the changes.

  • It might show up in Start > Recent Documents, or do a saerch of *.tmp, but chances are, it's been saved as a temporary file and then deleted by your pc.

Search for files modified in the last X days, where X is the time since just before you saved it.

Is it on the recent docs list in the File Menu of Word?
