Oops
I took so long writing my replies other people have posted...
NEH...Thanks, does sound familiar doesnt it (between Aberdeen and Dundee?)....I am looking into a corner freezer as a feature lol...I was worried they would have left it in the lobby which would make it pointless so I will have a bash and see what happens.
Sassers...Thanks thats a lot of very very useful tips there, will speak to the DIY expert (DH)
adelight...thanks, there is space on top of the cupboards..but I will need to use a chair or steps to sort them as I am a shorta*se.
I do miss my extra freezer so will look into one for the bedroom.
Once again thanks to all I cant believe there is so much storage staring me in the face. Too much conditioning that things have to be in a "proper" cupboard.I MAY HAVE NOTHING.....BUT ITS MY NOTHING0 -
Maybe find out when the Co-op has reductions to make it more "affordable".0

How big is the dining table? Is it possible to have a smaller freezer underneath? A friend of mine did this when she was having her kitchen refitted and it worked fine for stuff she wasnt using daily.0

I also have an extremely small kitchen, it's not so bad as I have just me and the little one to house but I can imagine with so many it must be hard. Do you have any spare space in your bedroom? I store all my clothes in the wardrobe and have 2 sets of those roller drawer units with bulk bought toiletries which were super cheap, you could use these to store food instead. I also found that getting rid of as many dishes as possible was helpful, I before had around 10 dinner plates etc which was crazy so now I only have 4 plates, 4 side plates, 4 soup bowls and a couple of regular bowls. I also got rid of any kitchen appliances I didn't use it was just taking up too much space. I also have a shelf in the bottom of my airing cupboard which I use to store things in a big box. The middle shelf has 2 of those flexi tyoe tubs, one with towels and the other with bedding, I also got rid of a load of things like that realistically at the most I required 3 bedding sets and towels although good to keep just in case was not helpful in my fight against the space.
Otherwise lidded boxes under beds, boxes on top of cupboards if you can would free up some space. Top of the fridge freezer you could store bottles of juice, diluting etc. A sideboard in the living room could house some tins and things on the shelves. Are you able to put up shelves around the house? May help to remove things from cupboards to store boxes of things in there.
Hope you manage to find some solution soonCredit Card: £796 Left/£900 October 2011 :eek:Store Card: £100 October 2011
