Invitations- Vistaprint?

Options
Am I right in thinking that the vistaprint invites are just flat (apart from the ones that are folded....)

What i mean is, you cant get any "fancy" ones that open up (only way i can describe is like a wardrobe door) where you have your words inside or ones that have a pocket with info about your wedding/rsvp cards etc inside?

Does anyone have any MS suggestions for places i can get ones with pockets or...doors?

Apologies for my poor description skills today! :o

  • I got my invites from Vistaprint - they're just flat postcards - but I've got some gems from eBay I'm sticking on. you can get ones that open up as cards, but not the wardrobe ones (these are called gatefold I think). Lots of people make their own, which can be cheap, especially if you already have some equipment. We nearly got some ready made off eBay - cost twice as much as Vistaprint, but still only about 40p each.

I bought mine from Vista print and they open like a card - I actually used the thank you card option...

Twirly...do you mind me asking how much they were and were they easy to do? My OH uses Vistaprint but only for business cards...he told me just to go sort invites but I found myself looking at things that were a lot more than some folk on here have suggested they'd be

Ellay join vistaprint with an email address you dont use often. Then you need to wait for the offers emails. I get at least one every day. They have the links for things like 25 free invites etc then you just pay for postage.

We did our invites on Vistaprint - just the plain card ones. But also got the RSVP cards, and the evening invites. They also do nice envelopes, and stickers you can put on the return envelopes, as well as circles with out name in it that we put on the seal at the back.

As they are much cheaper that other cards, it meant we could put together a nice little matched 'package', which looked lovely and professional. Nothing but good comments so far!

p.s. It's hard to write on the glossy ones, but go test some pens and find a felt tip one that works. We got the reply cards done in matt, as I presume most people won't have the interest to go and sort out the 'perfect' pen!

We are planning on using the postcards on Vistaprint. One for the invite and another for the RSVP card.

You can buy the wardrobe door envelopes and use Vistaprint for the insert if you can get the sizing right?

We used Vistaprint for our invites, worked out very cheap including RSVPs - 50 each including envelopes I think worked out to be around £50 and I paid extra for speedy delivery as I needed them posting asap. It could have been less to be honest. I paid extra for thicker card (in my opinion worth it.)
    I love surprises!

I didn't pay anything apart from postage and a little extra to get "linen" paper, which i thought was worth it. I ordered them far enough in advance so i didn't have to pay much for the postage. I found the site very easy to use and they're still bombarding me with offers!!
These are mine, liked them because they were different from others i've seen. I would've hand made them, but OH used to be a printer and is a bit of a perfectionist. This way was far less stressful!
