Well done! We used our slow cooker to cooker a "rubber chicken" yesterday. We were out all day and come back to the lovely smell of roast chicken. OH won't have whole chicken cooked any other way now.
We have enough left over for chicken pie (for today) and some soup (for the freezer).Enjoying an MSE OS life

Could you not ring/email/write to the company where you got it from? They might have spare lids ect going, worth a try even if it is for now at least you'll get that last bit use out of it.
