Negotiating settlement fee. What info should i disclose?

Options
Hi

We have made an offer to a finance company for settlement of a 12 year old debt, which I have been admonished from due to bankruptcy several years ago but my wife is now responsible for.

They have sent us a letter asking us to fill out an expenditure sheet for them to consider their decision with. Fair enough, but what info do we have to give them? My wife is a housewife who doesnt earn money (which is a reason we have told them why she cant afford the payments) and as I am now not responsible for the debt and effectively not legally permitted to pay them, do i have to give them my outgoings?

The columns on the form are for borrower 1 and borrower 2. As I am now not included, I am obviously not borrower 1 anymore. It does ask who else lives in the property, which I do but only asks for the combined income of the 2 borrowers.

I am not giving them lies, and don't want to, but I only want to give them the info that is actually required and no more.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice.
