Have you considered getting a 30 days 'contract', they are not so bad and can be upgraded?

Spoke the them last night and the only thing they said they would offer me was PAYG and could send me a free Sim...

I guess that's my only option at the moment, shame where we are only vodafone has a signal.

How long was there between you making your initial application and requesting your credit report? Because if you've only just got on the electoral roll, it's possible that this was missed when you applied.

I've been in my current flat for 4 months and the council are still to add me!

same day, but haven't got my experian report yet, so maybe that one hasn't updated. Vodafone told me they won't consider me for another 3 months now. I think I'll just accept that I won't have a mobile at home...
  • Why can't you use a PAYG Vodafone SIM for a while, until you get a contract sorted eventually?? At least you'll have a useable mobile at home then!

    I suppose I agree.

Darrude, you can activate Vodafone Stop The Clock
(With Vodafone Stop The Clock you pay for the first 3 minutes of an evening or weekend call, and the next 57 minutes of the call will be free of charge)

And / Or use Freedom Packs:
    £10 Pack 100 minutes and 300 texts
    £15 Pack 200 minutes and 600 texts
£20 Pack 300 minutes, 3000 texts and 500MB of web access
£30 Pack 500 minutes, 3000 texts and 500MB of web access

There are a lot more about PAYG to find out, just visit your local VODAFONE office and tell them what you need.
