passed on with permission...
Repost this. It's important!
Every parent (and child) needs to know about the sick, sick movement known as "pedophile activism". I am not joking. Look up pedophile activism on wikipedia.org for more information. They have created these symbols, so that they can identify each other, create a support network, it's sickening:
This is the symbol for "boy love" called BLogo
This is the symbol for "girl love", called GLogo
This is the symbol for "Childlove Online Media Activism, CLOMAL
This is the symbol for all-encompassing pedophilia, CLogo
If you see these symbols on someone's Myspace, they are a pedophile.
If you see someone with one of these symbols on their clothing or jewelry, they are a pedophile. Anyone with children, please visit Wikipedia's article on Pedophile Activism

There's someone in my head, but it's not me

I wouldn't expect that its real , why would a pedophile advertise their prescence ?
Just another SPAM.I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0 -
you have to ask yourself this question, "if i was a concerned parent is this what i'd do?" sending out this "warning" in an email that will go one person at a time, or would i in fact pass on the information to the media to publicise it, i think it's the latter. Also as the 2nd poster said why would paedophiles publicise that they are paedophiles?Bought, not Brought0

Forward it to the police - if the sender knows enough, they know too much.0

I just had a nosy at wikipedia and sure enough the symbols are there along with details about names they use etc. There are some very sick people about.
The thing with wikipedia is that you can edit details, however you are supposed to use references etc to give an unbiased opinion. There has been a lot of editing and comments made about different things. I cant say i looked into it, as i dont really want indepth details, however from skimming the page it appears that the main part is about the groups that want to lower the age of consent.
If it were me i would probably forward the email on, i mean if its true enough id rather parents knew what to look out for.

Sounds like typical scare email to me. You'll probably get one telling you about being stopped by a police car that's not actually the police, or someone sticking a notice to your back windscreen or the woman who asks to use your phone next.
There are a lot of dangers out in the world, but do we really need emails telling us about all of them?Happy chappy0 -
ta muchly. as ive already received this numeous times i wont forward it to those who i know havent got it. theyve probably got it fromsomewhwere else.
guess its a 'be alert' for these symbols but can you really see a oerv avertising like hes wearing a 'breast cancer awareness' badge? if you get what i mean. There's someone in my head, but it's not me0 -
having a look at the wikipedia site, yes the symbols are there but they don't suggest that they are being used as a badge by paedophiles to identify themselves. It all sounds a bit like that scare in the 90's that got those jelly band things(someone remind me of their name) banned because it was circulated that the colour of band the wearer was wearing was an indicator of the extent of sexual activity they were willing to have. It very much looks like a scare email like for example the one i've received 100 times over the years warning me not to walk in a "Walmart" car park with a young child as there is a local gang initiation ceremony involving the killing of a mother and young child.Bought, not Brought0
