My partner and I are wanting to buy a property however I have poor credit history and am wondering wether it worth while me putting my name to a mortgage application. We have absolutly nothing in the way of a deposit so is there any mortgages on the market suitable for first time buyers someone mentioned Shared Equity mortgage does any one know about these. My partner has a really good credit history and we have a combined salary of £3,100 before tax coming into the hosehold at the moment per month.
All advice gratefull.

Basically, if you can't afford to save for a deposit, you cannot afford to buy a house.
You will not find 100% mortgages and even shared equity mortgages require some sort of deposit (usually 5%).0 -
Sorry but without any deposit it's a no go I'm afraid.0
