Hi,
I Have my very first court claim from Mint, 7600 debt. I have 6 other creditors that I am making reduced payments to but no court action from them.
I am currently selling my house and should be exchanging this week or next. I intend to make full and finals to all creditors EXCEPT Mint - as they have gone to court already.
Once my house sale completes I can fully pay off Mint but I don't expect to get the money until sometime between the court judgement and the deadline to pay up.
I understand I have 28 days from the court judgement to pay off in full in order for the CCJ not to be registered on my credit file.
So, I want to check I am doing this right:
Do I Return acknowledgement form,
Admit the claim in full,
Fill out the personal details form,
Then court will tell me to pay up,
I pay up in full within 28 days of judgement,
No CCJ will be registered on my credit file.
Huge thankyou

Hi there, I didn't want to read and run. I seem to remember that yes, you do have 1 month to pay before it is recorded on your credit file - but to be sure, I'd call the court (Northampton?) to clarify that, they would know for certain. Hth, SF x0
