swapping seeds
Can anyone recommend sites where I can swap seeds? I have a good few packets of basic varieties that are going to go unplanted and I want to see them used.
I was hoping I may be able to do a three way swap where i pass them on to someone and someone else has seeds of something I am looking for.
I know there are sites like this but I can't seem to find any active ones in the uk that don't insist you have 50 posts before you can offer anything!
Can anyone help?

What Furny said... it's brilliant. I've got tomatos, squash, sweetcorn and something else.... can't remember, anyway I'm a happy camper!Well behaved women rarely make history.0

Thanks!
That looks exactly what I was looking for. I will have a good sort out now and get them sent off this week:j0 -
No one seems to want the 300 Enorma runner bean seeds I sent
Glad the chilli seed and tomato seeds were popular though :T
But thanks for the Basil, Crystal Lemon Cuces and Purple Sprouting Broccoli.0 -

somebody donated over 150 packets of seed today - mostly flowers :j
it will take a while to get them all listed - so worth a look in a day or twosaving money by growing my own - much of which gets drunk
made loads last year :beer:0 -
Wow! You must of been chuffed Splodger.
Cue, Furny starting to run to her seed box to start sorting for swapsies!;)0 -
150 packets :eek::T:T:T
I don't do flowers (very successfully), but will have a nosey at the swapsies.
Just took about 15 pods of Pequin chillies off the plant to be composted, it's been overwintered in the greenhouse, so that should be at least 200 - 300 seeds. A mate I gave some to last year, called them "those bdooly red hot bullet shaped wotsits"
You can have those, should be good for a year or 5.:rotfl:0 -
just sent off my first lot
requested some pumkin seeds - never grown before but will give them a try0 -
Splodger - just to let you know the rhubarb arrived safely, has been planted and now has 3 stalks! The clematis seeds havent had such a good time, I looked up how to plant them, they were in a mix of sand and compost in a pot and sealed in a plastic bag in the greenhouse ready for the years wait for them to germinate..then the dog got in the blowaway greenhouse and ate them....grrrrrrrr!0
