Good savings for regular Body Shop shoppers

What's the deal?
Even though it's been around for a few years there's a little-known loyalty card that for regular devotees of the Body Shop could save you some cash. The Love Your Body Card costs £5 and gives a 10% discount. So if you spend over £50 a year in Body Shop it's worthwhile.
How to get your Love Your Body Card
Currently you can only sign up to the card in stores so use the Body Shop store finder to find your nearest. Also it's worth checking out new stores being set up, as it could sell it for £1 on the opening day.
There are around 400 Body Shop stores, although franchises do not sell the cards (they may give the 10% discount if you already have one though). Franchise stores are: Bedford, Burton On Trent, Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Derriford Hospital (Plymouth), Exeter, Harrow, Horsham, Hove, Litchfield, Loughborough, Luton, Newark On Trent, Northallerton, Norwich, Plymouth, Reading, Sheffield, Skipton, Southall, Stevenage, Uxbridge and Watford.
Once you have it though, you can use it to get the 10% discount online, and at the moment you can get 20% off your first online order. The 10% discount only applies to goods only, not delivery, which costs £3.25 for standard delivery on orders under £20. Delivery on orders over £20 is free.
There are other discounts on top too
There's a range of discounts and offers available on top (though I would still only get it if you're going to spend over £50, then it's a definite saving) including:
- 10% off all purchases for one year both in store and online
- A Birthday present worth up to £5 when you show your card instore in your birthday month
- Free gift worth up to £5 when you've made your 4th qualifying purchase
- Free gift worth up to £10 when you've made your 8th qualifying purchase
- Access to special Love Your Body events
- Cardholder offers, product updates and invitations to member events

I dunno if this is useful, or even in the right place, but the body shop now have a store card, it's not credit, like a credit or ordinary store card, more like a loyalty card like boots have. Anyway, if you go the regularly it's worth it, the card costs £5.00 & for that you get to go in on your bday month & get something worth £5.00 for free, 10% off for the year, £5 & £10 to spend after so many purchases etc, seems a good card.0

Some consultants for The Body Shop at Home have just started accepting and selling these cards at parties. I know I'm one of them.
Some of the best deals are through us consultants as we are indepedent. For example, I am offering 20% off all catalogue items (in stock) when the customer spends £35 or more, until 30 Nov. I am in Norfolk but I am sure that other consultants can offer this too.0 -

These cards are free if you tell them it's your birthday month when you get it (therefore you get the card free instead of getting the £5 birthday month discount). I prefer to do it this way as there isn't anything in the Bodyshop which is *exactly* a fiver to my knowledge.0

i have been a fan of this card. i was gutted when the free renewal card scheme ended. as you used to get another card free if you completed a card in a yr. but still its worth it. you end up making your 5 quid back in no time and you get freebies and extra money off sales stuff toowould love to be a home owner. hate private rentingscared of debt. almost debt free.

It's worth mentioning that the stores in Sussex University Bookshop and WestQuay shopping center (Southampton) are also Franchises.
Oh, and all of Ireland.0
