I know I may get shouted at, as I’m sure there are a million threads about this including answers, but I couldn't find one that answered my question.
My question is, will the CCJ be removed from Credit File from the original date that the CCJ was made 31/03/2006 or will it be the Satisfaction date of 16/03/2007
Thanks
Marc

6 years from the original judgement date. So about 31/03/2012.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Thanks for that, it's a year earlier than I thought which was 2 years nearly. So cheers for that.0

So Marc may expect the threatening letters to start arriving in January 2012?
Why would they? The CCJ is settled.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I was worried when I read Culex's post, then my brain kicked in and went 'you've paid it off anyways', haha.
Also Fermi, I take it the same logic applies to the original debt,
Company name: NEXT DIRECTORY
Account type: Mail order
Started: 01/07/2004
Default Balance : £217
Current Balance : Satisfied
Defaulted On : 28/09/2005
File Updated for the Period to: 01/04/2007
Its from the defaulted on date, Cheers again.0 -
Its from the defaulted on date, Cheers again.
For a default on your credit report, 6 years from that, yes.
So to summarize, the default goes 6 years after the default date. The CCJ goes 6 years after the judgement date.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
