Best Western comp ???

Hi guys just quick question really i have been entering this comp on the daily comp board and think probably alot of you have been too and have only seen 1 winner on here thought that a bit strange as there supposed to be 100 winners a day. Well just done todays an got room key number 98 in a hotel that only has 53 bedrooms so how does that work my bf got key 99 very strange, has anyone had any luck ?

No luck yet, but they include every room in every Best Western hotel, even if no one has got that key; so some draws might not actually have a winner. That is weird having room 98, mind you I have stayed in room 112 at a hotel with 30 rooms so...

Oh ok thanks thought might never win if the room wasnt even there ha ha every day i enter i get really high room numbers

The T+C's say "In the event that there are no winners in a given week (Monday – Sunday inclusive), all the week’s entries will be placed into a free prize draw to win a single prize of £500."
Judging by this they aren't expecting many winners.

Exactly seemed strange to me considering how many people from this site who are entering everyday an only one winner so far.

Not sure if this has been highlighted but if you apply online to the best western rewards you would receive £1000 instead of £500 if you won. Call me a cynic if you like but i cant help thinking the competition is cleverly created to make the odds of winning massively unlikely

I too wondered the same thing as most of my rooms numbers have been in 200s and 300s for Hotels that have less than 100 rooms.

I did think though that if they have say 100 rooms on five floors, the first floor could have rooms beginning in the 100s, second floor 200s etc.

Looking at the T&Cs though I think the chance of winning are pretty low if the room numbers are picked randomly.

I did join Best Western after the comp started but only because I booked a room for one of their Hotels in Germany.

I do like the brand and there was a very interesting documentary a couple of years back where the Chief Exec went to work in the Hotels as cleaner, waiter etc to get a real feel of how the Hotel runs and also find out what staff think/know about the brand! He seemed a really nice guy.

• Each day 100 ‘virtual rooms’ will be selected at random by an independent person. All entrants that were allocated a winning room will receive a prize.
• There are 100 prizes to be won each day, each prize consists of £500 (£1,000 for customers who are Best Western Rewards members prior to entering into the promotion), and will be supplied by cheque.

I was wondering this. It did seem far too good to be true that a company would give out £50,000 every single day for 3 months! I gues it makse sense that they pick from all available rooms rather than all that have been allocated that day. Still, it only takes a second and it’s free so worth a shot I think!
