The Wedding Shop - Standish.... gone into Liquidation

Just thought I would help spread the word about this company going bust....

They announced it yesterday (Sat 27th March) and we found out because somebody mentioned a nail/hair (I think) sallon that was operated by the same people had gone under.

My OH has a dress stored with them which we are hoping to get back tomorrow (dress was paid for in full, they were effectivly storing it) and they did claim they were going to ring everybody who had paid at least a deposit for a dress.....

I think they may also run a couple of other shops - but not sure

but here is a heads up incase they didnt make the call!

And another perfect reason to put your large purcahses/orders on credit card AND have appropriate wedding insurance!

Yes, thankfully the manager of the standish branch had the dress at her house and very kindly dropped it off at her mums house.
