There is a comparison website (which I have forgotten name of) which tells you which company offers the best deal.

Considering the problems with both phones, unless they are expensive/highly sought after, you're unlikely to get much.
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

How's eBay? Is there more money to be gotten from a pawn/cash advance/ payday loan shop?

Trying to get rid of a mobile phone purchased at the end of April 2010. Used it for only 2 months before moving to the United Kingdom. Was told it could be used over here but not so much to my chagrin. It's in excellent condition, from the United States, and hasn't been used since the end of June (moving time). Also comes with a great protective case and 2 chargers.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

I have always sold my mobile phones on ebay.............I know other people have experienced problems using ebay but I've always been able to get more money this way than by using a mobile cashback site. I'm always VERY honest in my listing and I always send the phone by Special Delivery so I have proof of purchase. Two phones have been collected in person. I think I've sold about ten phones on ebay (the last one was my old iphone) and I've always been very pleased with the results.
