I have a mortgage with a friend and I put £26,000 and she put in 9,000. We have recently fallen out and am currently trying to sort out the best route possible for the house, but over number of arugements she has now said that she wants to sell and i feel this would be bad due to current house prices we would be worse off. Can she make me sell?

She can force the sale, but it will cost a lot in legal fees and for effectively £9K (not sure if in negative equity or otherwise) she would have to consider whether it would be worth it.
It is always best to try and put these differences aside and work through them, I know easier said than done, but in the long run you will probably both be better off.
As you have just recently fallen out, leave it a week and then put out an olive branch, you should be pleasantly surprised when it gets taken and then you can resolve the matter amicably without wasting time and money on a dispute.
It the property let, do you live there, what is its status. Who now pays the current mortgage?0
