Help!
Has anyone else had problems sending e mails when changing over to Windows Live mail? Have just purchased a new laptop with Windows 7 and have down loaded Windows Live mail. Can receive e mails but everytime I try and send any I get the error message An unknown error has occurred.
I have checked all of the settings, as much as I can with my very basic knowledge, but don't know what to do.......
Would be really grateful for any suggestions, I have an old ntlworld e mail address which is now Virgin Media.
Thanks in desperation!:)

If you can send but not receive then your SMTP server settings are not correct. Re-enter the connections using the info supplied. Are you using the SMTP authentication? No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Just read this if all your setting are correct would leave and see if problem is Virgin end.
