Doctor Who Figures

Hi, I'm a newbie poster so if this is in the wrong place I apologise, but if anyone is having trouble finding a doctor who action figure for christmas, I just managed to order one online from Forbidden Planet at a very reasonable 5.99 plus fair postage. I've been looking around for weeks now trying to get one and the ebay listings are running at silly money prices. Hope this info is some use to a harassed parent on the forum anyway, Merry Crimbo from Jandy

Be wary with forbidden planet. I was the first to preorder the werewolf figure back in July for the October release, I also ordered Captain Jack. I got Jack a few days after release but ended up buying the werewolf from Woolies as a month after its release FP still couldnt tell me when I would be getting it.
I was annoyed as Id preordered so early, yet the first stock went so quickly, and was advertised on the site!
DD didnt have the figures she wanted for her birthday

I too was struggling to find a Dr Who figure for Xmas. Managed to get Rose, Cyberman and various creature figures from Tescos/Woolies etc, but could not get hands on an actual Dr Who figure. Eventually tracked them down at the BBC shop. The suited David Tennant is £5.99 and the Dr in a long coat is £7.99. Cost £2.45 postage, however many you order. Mine arrived in 4 days.
Not an obvious place to look for toys, but they had lots of Dr Who stuff.
