What would you do if this was you?
Stop wasting money on fripperies and get a hobby?
(IIRC you don't actually listen to advice on here anyway. Didn't you have some hair dying disaster after ignoring advice?)I was born too late, into a world that doesn't care
Oh I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair0 -

hmm harsh & uncalled for.
I'm sure your not perfect & have made mistakes. If you haven't, can you give me some constructive tips?0 -

Ignore this, its not a frippery if its important to you and your quite right in your reply that we all make mistakes, thats what this forum is built on, helping others and learning:)
My constructive advice would be forget the salon put it down to a bad experience and get yourself down to Boots, buy some individual extensions, you get loads in a pack for about a fiver or get some strip lashes and cut them in half just applying to the outer corner of the eye to give a lift, forget the glue they come with buy yourself some Revlon glue also from Boots and have a go yourself, its really easy after a few tries, you can customise them to suit you and its much cheaper - best of luck:)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0 -
I do my own aswell, normally buy individual Eyelure pack or the packs from Sallys, agree with glowgirl above the glue that comes with them is rubbish, I use the black glue from Sallys/Salon Services, it really is amazing
I'd recommend buying the remover aswell if you're a picker like me. normally when a few of mine have fallen out I tend to pick the others and it results in pulling out my own eyelashesThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -

Thanks girls, much appreciated.
Your so right, I do need to forget the salon & put it down to a bad experience.
I will certainly consider buying some individual lashes. Problem is I'm so clumsy and not particularly steady handed, but I guess I have nothing to loose if I try them0 -

You won't be perfect at applying them to start with but practise makes perfect. Tweezers and maybe 2 packs of eyelashes :P and some glue and you're good to go.The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0
