Help too much garlic in lasagne

Hi

Just making lasagne for dinner and put in too much garlic. Now it has an overpowering taste of garlic and very little else. Have added a beef stock cube and more tomato puree but it hasnt really changed the taste. Can anyone help please?

When the lasagne is assembled, the pasta sheets, b!chamel sauce and cheese topping will mellow everything.
In my opinion, it cannot possibly be too garlicky, yum!!!

Normally I would agree, I love garlic but there is a strange aftertaste now thats not normally there. I'm hoping that when it is all put together it wont be so noticable but though I would check for any ideas
  • i'd lash a bit more basil in it if that happened to me, i love garlic, but i love basil more! :)

Panic averted, thank you all, added a little sugar, basil, thyme and rosemary and it tastes alot better now and will hopefully be fine by the time its all put together.

    Thanks again
