Advice

I am hoping that someone can give me some advice.

Basically I have gone over my overdraft limit (my own stupid fault) and have arranged with the bank to pay back what I have gone over with by £80 to be paid over two months. I have no idea, however, how I am going to pay back my £300 overdraft because as soon as that is taken from my account I am going to be in the same situation of living beyond my overdraft.
I don't know what to do.
Somebody please advise me.

Honestly? Sell something. Sell £380 worth of stuff. I'm afraid the other options (payday loans, etc) are much worse in the long term :,-(
  • Why dont you try doing a statement of account (see this thread for an example) : template

Then you can see your outgoing vs your incoming, and work out where you can make some savings! If you post it up here, then someone will be able to suggest things to you?

6 debts down - 1 to go: just over £1000 though, soon soon....

Staying happy and positive through 2011 (hopefully!) :j

try and re-arrange the payment plan with your bank - go into the branch and sit down with an advisor and sit down with them and explain your situation. They're a bit kinder when it's face to face than when it's done over the phone :)

Thank you x x I'm going to see my bank on Monday but I am so scared - I can't relax, smile and I even feel bad about laughing at anything. I haven't told my boyfriend as I don't want him to pay for my mistakes. What if they can't or won't help me?

Why not tell your bf? If he is in a position to help then surely he would be happy to pull you out of the proverbial do-do.

I think this is a better option than any other available

On the upside both Sky and Foresters have been charging me for services I no longer use - I am hoping I can get refunded from both.

Good luck with that, Sky isn't PPV. Do you mean you cancelled the agreement but they have continued charging you?

Yep, Foresters I even recieved a letter from stating that they acknowledged I didn't want to continue paying with my ISA and Pension and I moved out of the property with SKY a few months ago. SKY I will ring tomorrow. My plan is this
    Sunday: ring SKY
    Monday: Ring Foresters
If all else fails ask my aunt or my father for £300. I never ask them for money and I am hoping that either of them will help me.
I don't feel too much happier and maybe my hope is fools gold BUT these two companies have been taking money from me when I have dispensed with their services.

Why not ask them both for £300 so you can then buy some new shoes? :D

SKY: My fault I didn't change the details so no refund there.
FORESTERS: The bank gave me an idemnity direct debit refund for this month and the months since September 2010 which comes to roughly £360. Does anyone know how long this takes? If it goes in before the 31st then my overdraft is paid back by them. From looking online it usually takes a couple of days.
