Hi it's the Blossom Hill White Zinfandel.
Can anyone help....been to spend my voucher tonight, legitimate with club card and all that, and it seems that one of the digits is missing from the code on the bottom and the lady wouldn't accept it! Had to leave all my shopping there as I didn't have enough cashShe said I'd put it through wrong. Didn't argue incase I had! Came home and tried to input the receipt again and it gave the same voucher with the number 1 missing from the 5th section of codes we have to put in. What do I do, can't afford to loose £17
Dear Mrs ****
Thank you for your email.
I'm very sorry to hear that 2 of your vouchers have got a digit missing from the information we need to match the receipt. Although the majority of our stores will accept this with no issue, there are one or two that are being extra careful due to a small number of customers trying to abuse the system. However, they can contact a member of our Customer Service team on 0800 50 55 55 to confirm the validity of the voucher.
Thank you for getting in touch and giving me a chance to help.
If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us at customer.service@tesco.co.uk.
Kind Regards
Michael Whitehead

My voucher also has one digit missing from the 5th section, and also an extra 0 on the begining of the 3rd section. Must be the same for other people as well?
I would get them to telephone head office to confirm the voucher is legit.0 -
Hi there fellow DTDers
Was in local store today doing 2 dtd shops - same trolley but separate transactions, I picked a guy thinking he wouldn't know much about the dtd vouchers.
my first transaction was non dtd and paid cash. all ok
second transaction was for £21.10 and used £20 dtd voucher that came through today. He ummed and arred about it, I now look at his badge and bloody hell he's a manager!
He then asks if I have another voucher for the 3rd transaction, I say yes, and asks for the next voucher and receipt, at this point my heart is pounding like the clappers and I try to keep my composure.
He then says he is refusing the second voucher as I had 2 receipts within minutes of each other yesterday and that really I has split them out and then he said it wasn't in the spirit of scheme.
I try and bluff and say my mother was with me yesterday, I only used 1 voucher yesterday and the other I paid for.
but he still refuses, I then say ok , make sure I collect all my receipts before he signed them all and walk away.
I know I could've gone back later but was too chicken.
Different stores me thinks and only use this one occasionally.
Just entered my receipt tho so fingers crossed0 -

Hmm,
Tried to use up the first of my two £100 DTD vouchers tonight, on a Kindle (paying an additional £52 on top). The Electrical checkout staff needed CS to get it verified through head office, given the amount (not sure if this is a store-specific decision by the manager?). Anyway after 10 mins waiting for them to ring through and check they realised there was no one at their desk to verify it, and thus couldnt let me use the voucher - saying i should come back between 9 and 5.30.
I realised during the wait that i may have exceeded my £100 limit this month ;-), so am wondering how to proceed witth these vouchers now - try again at another store, try a manned checkout (perhaps using a small DTD voucher first?), simply taking back the items on the receipt (wine) for a refund/not using the £100 DTDs and cutting my losses on them.
any ideas?0 -
