  • Am I the only person waiting for email back about Friday's shopping? I put 4 receipts in for various family members and have only received one back. It's way over the 36 hours they claim. I have tried to enter the details again but it just says it's processing. Should we have a club for those who are in waiting?

I think we agree that on Friday a number of posters to this Board received emails

    so from that point on

taking steps to have Tesco issue a voucher which one is not due (because one is over £100 for the month) would be a form of deception?

And having big signs up saying "price check" etc is also a form of deception.

"We'll check the price of your comparable grocery shopping versus Asda and then send you an email when we have your results. Of course we're confident you will find your shopping cheaper at Tesco, but if not, we'll refund double the difference."

Can depend which ISP you are with, for example with o2 Broadband you do not get a new IP address if you only switch off/unplug for a short period.

Its the same for most ISP's. Their systems I am told (no expert in this field) only poll all their systems now and again and chuck any unallocated IP's back into the pot for reuse. This means that generally for this to happen you need to be unplugged for some time. Its been said that overnight often generates a fresh IP, but sometimes it can take a couple of days.

Yeah, I put *should* but maybe could have made it bold... also the IP can change without you unplugging the router as some ISPs will deliberately cut you off every x hours to prevent hosting but I didn't want to confuse things :D:D:D

I always unplug my router at night, just makes sure no-one can track my IP address.

I do too, I unplug everything at night (paranoid about electrical fires!). :rotfl: Does this reset my IP address?

there are around 30 of us (that i know of) with the same problem. some have kindly rang customer services and they have said there was a problem on friday and they are sorting it. we have all swapped stories and there are no "similarities" as to why we have been chosen, so its looking random. And CS have said its "36 working hours" which is 4.5 days monday-friday. boo
